A Few More Valentine's Day Cards

Here were two more cards I made using a different Penny Black stamp called Sweetheart Mimi. Such a cute character!

Hope everyone had a great day with loved ones!

Happy Birthday Robot

Happy 1st Birthday to my godson, Benjamin!! Here is his super easy and cute card...I started off first with a birthday robot stamp, which came in a set of three. I colored it in, and added the number one inside the balloon. I covered the balloon and the robot's eyes with Glossy Accents to give them dimension, and added glitter to the cupcake with my Wink of Stella pen. The rest of the card was super easy to make with paper I already had on hand and the Square Flip Its Die, which conveniently cut out all the pieces needed.

Supplies used:
Blue and Green Cardstock
12x12 Green One Year Baby sheet from Creative Imaginations
Hero Arts Wood Stamps of 3 Robots
Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers
Glossy Accents
Wink of Stella
Sticker Letters from American Crafts
Uniball Signo White Gel Pen
My Favorite Things Pierced Square Dies
Sizzix Square Flip Its Card #2
Hero Arts Many Birthday Messages Clear Stamps
Copic XPress It Blending paper

Happy Valentine's Day Card

Here's something you don't typically see at a Starbucks: A thirty something female drinking her white chocolate mocha while coloring with markers and trying to stay within the lines. Yes, that was me last weekend. Wish it could be everyday! haha. I decided to try to make my Valentine's Day cards using one stamped image of my favorite character Mimi from Penny Black, this time called Brimming with Love. Each card, however, would use a different technique. I had yet to try the very popular chalkboard technique, and I LOVED how it turned out. I also had some Martha Steward double sided valentine's day themed paper, which I thought would be perfect for my now famous flip-its cards. For my third card I also used a technique I had not yet used--stenciling with use of an ombre look using Distress Inks. The last card was simple, using cute ribbon and vday themed paper from Alison Kreft's 6x6 Sprinkled with Love Paper Pad.

Oops! I only noticed after my sister pointed it out-the stamp is upside down!

Light Gray and Blue Themed Baby Shower Banner

Yay! Another special request for one of my baby shower banners! If my Etsy shop never materializes, at least I can count on word of mouth. This time the request came from a friend of a friend who had seen one of my signs while attending our friend's baby shower. Luckily, she already picked out the color theme for the shower and even had photos from Pottery Barn Kids for the baby's nursery decor.

Here was my inspiration:

And this was my take on it:
